They targeted hotels, bus stops, train stations and one house on the outskirts of the city.
They targeted Jews.
My heart goes out to the people of Mumbai, who are calling this their 9/11. I am sorry that such evil exists in our world. And of course my thoughts are with the families of those who died because they were Jews: Rabbi Gabriel and Rivka Holtzberg, Bentzion Chroman, Rabbi Leibish Teitlebaum, and Yocheved Orpaz.

Jews are too often the target.
My heart goes out to all touched by this senseless killing, but especially to Baby Moshe. He turned two yesterday, without his parents. His universe has just exploded, and at just two he'll never even remember that it used to be otherwise.
Baruch Hashem the baby was saved. May he live a long fruitful and healthy and happy life.

Angers you that they even HAD to ask such a no-brainer of a question, right?
They also singled out for slaughter the occupants of the Chabad House, a pious Jewish outreach organisation with no Israeli or political agenda - underscoring the point that at the core of the Islamists' hatred of Israel festers their hatred of the Jews.

When my daughter heard the news about this (from us, not her school!), she said "this shows that it [the conflict here] is not about land, that it is about wanting to kill us because we are Jews."
It is true they chose the Chabad house because they were Jewish. Not only did they choose the place but they cased it for months. It breaks my heart and terrifies me that as the Holzbergs went around living there life doing for others, unknowing terrorist were casing them.Planning their demise. So sad
